A Couple of Firsts

Monday, August 24th

This morning you slept until a little after 7am which was so lovely.  In fact, I think I woke you up when I went into your room to check on you.  Then...you did your first morning pee pees on the toilet!!!  You have been occasionally telling me about poo poos or pee pees everyday for the last few days but this was the first time for the morning pee pees.  I think we are going to start with the training undies starting today!!

I have been waiting for this day when Livia crawls up on the rocker to read all by herself.  She has taken books from the bookshelves and sat on the floor to "read" them but never in the rocker.  I was in the middle of vacuuming so I went to my room to grab the phone. I tried to sneak in to get pictures...but she saw me.

Sleepover with Hunter!!

Friday- Saturday August 21-22

You had a sleepover with Hunter and it was so much fun.  On Friday morning we went in the pool for quite a long time...our fingers and toes were so pruned.  After the pool we ate lunch and hung inside for a little while. Aftet lunch, you took your nap and Hunter got to spend some time with daddy playing a video game.  At 4:00 we had a play date with Lori from school at the Monroe spray park...it was not crowded one bit.  We came home around 5:15, dryed up, changed and ate dinner.  After dinner you and Hunter took a bath and had a blast playing with your bath toys.  I even caught a picture of you two watching Big Hero 6 after your bath.  Here are the pics throughout the day on friday.

Philly Wednesdays

Wednesday, August 19th

Just about every Wednesday throughout the summer we have traveled down to Gram's and Aunt Amy's since Daddy has been bowling in a summer league at Bristol lanes.  It's been pretty enjoyable especially when the weather is nice and we are able to go swimming at Gram's.  Here are pics of you and Hunter enjoying the pool.

Morning runs are starting to become a little more difficult since you rather run or walk than go in your stroller.  Once in though, you enjoy the ride.  Usually, we have early morning trips (like 7:30ish) to the park, but today we left around 9:30ish so you ended up falling asleep towards the end of mommy's run.  I walked until you woke up (you only slept for about 20 minutes). When you woke up the first thing you said was...mommy I walk...mommy out.  So out you went.  Here are the pictures after you woke up.  You were ready to feed the deer! Particularly - you are more concerned about feeding the baby deer.
