Livia picked out her clothes this morning...some things are just not worth the hassel.  She does look really cute though and enjoyed playing outside while it was still cool in the morning.  I absolute adore the very last picture...it's as if she were modeling her outfit for me.

Mommy and Daddy no longer have to hold or guide you through the swimming pool.  You can swim well while wearing your life vest.  This happened while swimming at Gram's house on Wednesday...YAY!!   I absolutely love it...I feel like it happened so quickly.  You just love the pool.

Last night was the first night in a loooong time that you slept through the entire night.  It probably has only happened about 2 other times in the past.  Thursday, July 23rd was the first night we attempted for you to sleep in your bed for the entire night.  We actually let you "cry it out" and it wasn't fun.  We placed you in your crib asleep but you woke up around 11:30 and you cried for about 1/2 an hour.  If that wasn't bad enough, you were crying out for "mommy, mommy"...that was probably the worst part.  You didn't just cry, you screamed.  After about 1/2 an hour, you finally laid back down and went back to sleep.  The next night, on Friday night, Daddy and I decided it would be a good idea to talk to you through the monitor to let you know that we are in the other room, that everything was ok and that you can go back to sleep.  You woke up again at 11:30 and you probably only cried for about 3 minutes after Mommy talked to you on the monitor, then you went back to sleep for the rest of the night.  On Saturday and Sunday nights you woke up at 2:30am and 1:00am respectively.  After speaking to you through the monitor, you only cried out about 3 times which lasted only a few seconds.  You then laid all of your blankets down on your bed and went back to sleep.  Finally, on Monday, July 27th - YOU SLEPT THROUGH THE ENTIRE NIGHT. 

AND....Guess What?  YOU SLEPT THROUGH THE ENTIRE NIGHT AGAIN ON TUESDAY NIGHT.  I think this is the start to GREAT RESTFUL NIGHTS (for all)!! 

Poopy on the Potty!!!

Today you did your first Poopy on the Potty!!  We were at Gram's house swimming in the swimming pool all day.  Mom-mom and Gram were outside by the pool.  Daddy left to go to bowling.  You and mommy went inside to dry off and get changed.  Since I had to use the restroom you came in and told mommy you had to go pee-pee too (you have done this countless times and it was never successful each time you were placed on the potty), but.... you ended up dropping a deuce.  hehehe.  We are so proud of you!!

After our run this morning it started thundering. We were at the mini zoo trying to find the deer.  When we finally found them it started spritzing a little.  Once we were finished feeding the deer (hot dog buns) it started lightly raining.  We started back to the car which was parked at the lake...we were actually running  (you in the stroller).  The rain wasn't bad until we were about 50 feet from the car when it started to downpour...hard.  By the time we reached the car and unlocked it using the key pad, we were soaked!  You found it so funny.  When we arrived home daddy was on the phone with Gram and he saw how soaking wet we were.  Wish I would have thought to take a picture.  We got you dried up and changed right away.  You chose to wear your phillies dress.  It fits you so much better now than when you wore it in May.  I caught some pictures of our little phyllies girl.  You love wearing mommy's shoes...it's so cute to watch you go in my closet, pick out some shoes and put them on.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

I can't believe I didn't get any pictures today but Daddy recorded you singing happy birthday after dinner, so I'll have to post that. 

Today was such a pleasant day (except when you got hurt).  You woke up around 6 or so and we went to the park to let daddy sleep in on his birthday.   After our morning runs you like to go to the playground. Well today, on our way to the playground, you fell and scraped your hand on the pavement and it was bleeding.  So, instead of the playground we took a trip to CVS to get some bandaids. You picked them out...Doc Mcstuffins.  We headed home to wish daddy a happy birthday and clean your hand.  We ate breakfast and got ready for the spray park. All 3 of us headed out around 10:45.  We stayed until about 12:30 then headed home for lunch.   After lunch you took a 2 hour nap and when you woke up the 3 of us went in the pool.  After the pool, Uncle Sillyo stopped over to wish daddy a happy birthday and we all had dinner together.  Shortly after, we had some (mendokers) cake - you loved it, of course.  It was a relaxing day for mommy and daddy but fun-filled for you because you were pooped by the end of the day.

While at the boat house, daddy and I decided to check out Eaglewood Amusement park...it's only about 10 minutes from their house.  What a cute little amusement park.  Of course, since you are only 32 inches, there were only three attractions you could ride.  However, it was well worth the money.  You were able to ride the baha buggie cars and the big fun slide but you needed to be accompanied by an adult for both.  The other attraction that you absolutely loved was bouncing on a trampoline while being suspended with bungee cords.  We captured all 3 rides on video as well.

We headed down to great gmom and gpop's boat house today.  You slept the entire ride down (mommy and daddy time it that way) which makes it so much easier.  We arrived at the house around 1:30 and relaxed on the deck for little bit.  We decided to take a trip to LBI for your first beach visit of the season.  It was so funny.  By the way, we always go to ship bottom to 3rd street.  It'seems never crowded and we always find a parking spot on Drexel ave (usually the same spot everytime).  As we were walking to the beach, you wanted to walk but once we hit the sand you wanted someone to hold you.  In fact, for the first 45 minutes or so, you didn't even want to touch the sand at all.  You cried bloody murder everytime we tried to place you down.  It didn't matter if we were on the dry sand or wet sand.  It was actually a little funny.  After sitting with mommy and daddy and then in the beach chair by yourself...you attempted to touch the sand with your hands.  Then, slowly you touched it with your feet until you felt comfortable to walk in it.  Then were running down to the water.  Here are the snapshots we got.  First picture is of you crying while daddy was holding you because you didn't want to touch the sand.

Every morning you and mommy go for a run through the park and after our run, you get to feed the animals and/or go on the playground.  You love going on the swings, but lately you have started standing up in the baby swing, so you come right out of there and sit on the big kid swing when that happens.  Here are selfies we took while you were in your swing (plus we were playing around with mommy's new phone & the camera - again).

We (Mom-mom, Gram , Daddy, Uncle Sillyo & Mommy) took a trip to the ice cream shop in town...what cute pics we have of you eating ice cream from a cone. Having snapped 8 pictures of you eating ice cream may be extreme....however, it was really about 15. I went through them all and deleted a few; I just couldn't bring myself to delete any more as these were not blurry.

Like every other year, we invited people over for 4th of July celebrations and fireworks.  This year, Daddy went all out and purchased some fireworks (I thought it was a bit crazy, especially since we can see Thompson Park's fireworks).  There were a good amount of people who came over today including Gram, Great Grandmom, Mom-Mom, Aunt Amy, Hunter, Aunt Tina, Uncle Harry, the Weinert's (Lori, Bobby and Ryan), Aunt Sandy, the O'Neill family, Stumpo, Sillyo,  & Farley.  This year, you slept right through the fireworks (and they were loud).  Here are the pictures taken today.
